Once upon a time we were two ordinary people with big dreams for big love. In fact, just like so many others, we longed for "forever after" kind of love, the love of which dreams and fairy tales are made. But neither of us were fond of the idea of being in a traditional relationship again, especially after the heart break we'd both experienced in previous relationships. Plus, a "regular" relationship seemed to be so much work! All that negotiating, bargaining, and arguing. Each of us kept hoping that a different kind of relationship would show up in our lives.
